Maritime Progress Marine Safety Signs IMO Life Saving Symbols. SOLAS, Chapter III, Regulation 20.10 requires signs to identify the locations of life saving equipment in accordance with recommendations of IMO. Reference has been made to the symbols related to life saving appliances and arrangements adopted by IMO resolution A.760(18), MSC82(70), and A.952(23).
