Chart Navigator Pro is Maptech’s full-featured GPS Planning and Chart-plotting software. It includes detailed United States cartography on 17 DVDs, including Raster Charts, Photo Charts, Topographic Maps, and 3D Contour Charts, as well a full array of software tools to help you plan and enjoy your time on the water.
FEATURES
GPS Chart-plotting - View your real-time GPS position right on the PC screen. All it requires is connecting an industry-standard NMEA 0183 GPS.
Includes all of the features of Chart Navigator plus:
3D Bathymetric Contour Charts - Full U.S. Coverage
AIS Compatible - Connect an AIS to the computer along with your GPS and you can plot other ships positions as well as your own.
Chart Warping - Overlay or warp your raster charts to our 3D charts.
3D Navigation Aids - Observe the same view on screen as you see at the helm. Buoys flash in correct sequence.
Look Ahead Bottom Profile- Warns you of risks of grounding based on your current course and speed.
BETTER CHARTS, BETTER SOFTWARE
NOAA is the official United States cartographer and publishes over 2200 charts covering the entire U.S. coastline, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the border of the Great Lakes. Inland waterway charts are published by the Army Corps of Engineers. They are all included on the DVDs along with Maptech’s Contour 3D Charts (Pro version only), Satellite Photos, Aerial Pictures, and Coastal Topo maps.
MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
• Pentium 350 MHz or higher processor. Pentium II or higher recommended.
• Microsoft Windows 2000, XP or higher operating system.
• 128 MB RAM or above. Additional RAM will improve performance.
• DVD-Rom drive.
• 1 GB of available hard disk space for program and related databases.
• Super VGA (800 x 600) or higher resolution monitor. 1024 x 768 or higher is recommended.
