4154 Maritime Progress Emergency stop symbol (green)

Safety signs are required to complement or expand the scope of officially designated signage. Many of these signs will be required by Flag State and Classification Authorities to cover safety and life saving equipment. For example all first aid points and first aid storage should be marked, as should emergency telephones and emergency stop buttons. In particular chemical carriers and vessels carrying hazardous cargoes should mark emergency showers and eye washes with the appropriate signs.
