On June 3rd, the Argentine Navy’s training ship Libertad docked in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor as their second stop of a 196-day voyage. From April 23rd until November 5th, the itinerary of the crew of 351, includes ports in in Norfolk, New York and nine European countries Brazil, Netherlands, France, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Greece, and Uruguay. They will spend 133 days at sea and 63 days docked at foreign ports.
In April, Maryland Nautical Sales was contacted by Rubin Bolognesi from the Argentine Naval Logistics Mission to assist with outfitting the vessel. Charts and publications were supplied to vessel covering their entire journey to every port from start to finish.
